There are also several options for public transit through OTCA serving all of Orange County, Metro (from Buena Park to Downtown Los Angeles) and Metrolink (via Buena Park Metro Station) connecting Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles Counties, make it simple to get around for work and short day vacations and getaways. For longer extended trips, there is an Amtrak station just 5 miles away in neighboring city of Fullerton.

Take Metrolink that makes regular stops at the new Buena Park Metrolink Station located at Lakeknoll Dr. Avoid heavy traffic through the 101 freeway to Downtown Los Angeles by taking the LA Metro bus route 460 that has frequent scheduled stops down La Palma and Beach Blvd. Both OCTA and LA Metro provide routes to Orange County's most popular destinations and tourist attrations such as the Buena Park Mall, Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland and Huntington Beach to name a few.
